BILLINGS, MT - OOPS!

On July 15, 2015 we went to the Billings Mustangs baseball game, which I had posted previously about. I have photos I forgot to post, as well as one noteworthy item. The base umpire is a local guy and there was a write-up on him in the local newspaper, which we were given at Bernie's Diner in Billings the morning we were waiting for the generator to be serviced. In the paper, Stu Bertrand, age 24, said, "My biggest goal this week is to try to not miss any calls". He is a Hunter Wendelstedt Academy graduate, assigned to Pioneer League Baseball. Let's try to remember this young man's name. He just might end up on ESPN! Unfortunately, I was not able to get his photo because of the rain delay!

Dehler Stadium, home of the Billings Mustangs

Rain Delay!

That Bratwurst was really good!

Rain and wind! It was quite chilly. At the background, above the ballpark, is the airport.

A memorial to American Legion Baseball.

The Montana sky!

A very nice, small baseball stadium.

This is not your typical diner. It is located in one of the finest hotels in downtown Billings!

Check out the "Vacation Breakfast"! No, we did not order that!

I ate half of my bacon and egg quesadilla and boxed up the other half! Very tasty and different than my usual with black beans and corn.

Until next blog ...
