CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK
It is really difficult to describe the beauty of this fabulous national park that Thom and I visited for the first time in our life today. It is a park we knew we always wanted to see and thank goodness the weather cleared and we were able to enjoy an additional splendor of this great country of ours! It is not as glamorous as the Grand Canyon but it sure is close. The park consists of several different areas and honestly it needs to be seen over time rather than in a day or two. Thom and I have already talked about coming back here for just a month so we can truly appreciate all that is offered in this park.
After 600 photos to skim through, I am just going to post the ones I thought the blog readers would enjoy the most. It was hard to narrow it down to the "few" I have below. Enjoy!
ISLAND IN THE SKY SECTION OF CANYONLANDS
You have to look close to see the arch. Look to your left and you'll see the rock cliff and then you can see the arch.
OUR RETURN TRIP UP THE CANYON
THE ROAD WE TRAVELED, PART OF IT!
Tomorrow we will be traveling to Salt Lake City for 3 nights. Thom will be meeting with the folks at Arbiter on Monday. We have no other plans but will probably venture into the downtown area.
Until next blog ...
